Day 1 Entry BeiJing meals:N/A
Arrive in Beijing and meet your English speaking guide; transfer to hotel to settle down and adjust to the time difference.
Day 2 BeiJing meals: B/L
Today's excursion begins with the largest and grandest square in the world,Tiananmen Square, followed by a visit to the magnificent Forbidden City. You will be astonished by the unique and beautiful architecture. After lunch, join a "back alleys" rickshaw Hutong tour to experience Chinese life at its most traditional and obtain a fascinating behind-the-scenes glimpse into the lifestyles of the local people.
Day 3 Beijing meals: B/L
Begin your day with a tour at the Great Wall. Constructed more than 2,000 years ago by China's first emperor, the ancient wall is 6350Km in length.

Day 4 Beijing/Xi’An meals: B/L
In the morning visit the famous Beijing Zoo where the star of the show will be the Giant Panda. In the afternoon we will explore the imperial gardens of the Summer Palace, the leading classical garden in China. Early this evening, we board an express train for the overnight journey to Xi'An.
Day 5 Xi’An meals: L
Arrive early this morning in China's ancient capital city of Xi'An, the capital city of China for 1,062 years (13 dynasties) and that saw the reign of 73 different emperors. We walk on top the 950-year-old city wall to enjoy the panoramic view of the city - it is the only city wall to remain intact in China today. In the afternoon, we visit Big Wild Goose Pagoda, the landmark of Xi'An.
Day 6 Xi’An/Orphanage City meals: B/L
Xian’s incredible history unfolds before us on a visit to one of the world’s greatest archaeological discoveries. This is the burial site of an ancient army of 8000 life-like terra cotta soldiers and horses, chariots and weapons, all created more than 2,000 years ago to guard the first emperor's tomb. Afternoon flight to orphanage city.
Day 7 Orphanage City meals: B/L
Orphanage city visit.
Day 8 Orphanage City/ShangHai meals: B/L
Orphanage city visit and fly to ShangHai.
Day 9 Shanghai meals: B/L
We travel through the Bund Sightseeing Tunnel (a favourite with children!) and visit the bund in the morning. Then a visit to the beautiful YuYuan gardens and Market in the afternoon. Acrobat Show in evening.
Day 10 : ShangHai/Home meals: B
Transfer to airport for your flight back home.
Tours with Orphanage Visit Cost:
Tours will be quoted in US dollars per person based on a travel group of at least 10 adults, with two people sharing a room. Children over 12 are considered adults.
The cost of tours that include orphanage visits will be affected by:
- how far the orphanage is from the provincial capital
- whether an overnight stay is required and therefore a hotel cost
- the type of transportation necessary to travel to the orphanage (car, bus, train or airplane)
- cost of guide and his/her travel/hotel arrangements
- the number of families going to the same orphanage (greater number will mean decreased cost)

(4 people in a room will reduce the tour cost per person, 1 person in a room will increase the tour cost for that person)
